Since I was a child my passion was to create art. Drawing and painting became second nature to me throughout my life. I attended the University of Michigan’s School of Art & Design and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013. After college, I moved to California for a short while where I became the Grand Prize winner of an art competition held by the City of Los Angeles. My painting was displayed on the LADOT buses for several months.
My paintings allow me to communicate four ingredients of life: Love, passion, beauty, and vibrancy.
Continuously evolving as an artist, I have begun to gear toward larger format paintings. My belief is that the larger the painting, the more consumption and influence it has over its audience, allowing the viewer to get lost in thought and emotion. Several of my paintings are displayed the Robert Kidd Gallery in downtown Birmingham, Michigan.
My style of painting is diverse. I carry elements of abstract and realistic art with impressionistic and gestural techniques using oil and acrylic paints on canvas. I let myself go through the colors and textures within the body of my paintings. The freedom and expression is exhilarating and to say the least, an escape...
It’s easy to get consumed by our everyday lives. Pressure, competition, social media, fear, anger, and crime are the distractions that keep us from remembering that there is still love and beauty around us. I wish for people to look at my paintings, get lost in the vibrant colors and feel that sense of love, passion, and beauty. My inspiration derives from people I meet, different cultures, traveling, moments, desires, and colors. I paint whatever I want and embrace the spontaneity of my thoughts in each painting as I continue to evolve and experience life.

During my years at The University of Michigan's School of Art and Design, I began to realize that technology was the wave of the future, and the need for graphic artists, and marketing and advertising specialists would be booming. Therefore, I developed a second passion for graphics arts. In my professional life I have worked as both a graphic designer and a marketing coordinator for various companies large and small. I create effective, eye-catching, and informative designs that will exceed your expectations and achieve your marketing and design goals!
